Tammy...all is quite well, and I have started a painting on an incredibly large canvas...stocked up on paint at Michaels today. Thinking about dusting off the sewing machine..some drapery tassels have inspired me to make a robe/coat thing..with the tassels used for some sort of closure devices..since I hate sewing on buttons. Only trouble is, I have to somewhat convert my paint and goo wet work studio into a nice, clean and dry sewing room again. Such troubles, eh?
clean and dry sewing room....that sounds like quite the challenge to me! I have an incredibly large canvas in my extra bedroom (for um maybe 4 years now, maybe longer) that I keep threatening to do something with. Alas, as yet, nothing there. Am doing a solo show at a new tattoo parlor in DC - they called me (networked from a former Wylde Woman who is tattooing now). Who would have thought- but they want torsos, so torsos they shall have.
