It's times like these....

You learn to love again.

Time to get back to my music. THE music. I have been away from it too long.

I am a new day rising
I'm a brand new sky
to hang the stars upon tonight
I am a little divided
do I stay or run away
and leave it all behind?

Dave Grohl...acoustically foo fighting.

In the words of David Crosby ... "music is love"

Were you a one-woman band yesterday?

All of my pursuits yesterday involved multiples.

In the words of Robert Palmer...

Two and one
Fast and slow girl
The best of both worlds
Double fun

I'll just sit this one out and watch this conversation because I can't contribute...it seems I focus on the music, not the lyrics (mostly, or at least for a very long time). And it's like watching ping pong - which can be fascinating. =]

It's VISA for me.
If I don't relax with the whole Bronze Door thing, I'll be ... sneakin' 'round the alley ....

Everyone will start to cheer, when you put on your sailin' shoes...which are good for sneakin thru the alley.

Careful, or you're gonna get whats coming...you've been asking for it two days runnin....

yyyyyeah ... typo on my part ... thru, thru, thru! proper footwear is always key.

whoa, you like to think you're immune to the stuff
oh yeah
it's closer to the truth to say you can't get enough

You might as well face it, your're addicted to love.

Or, as my friend in a band sings it..you're a dickhead for love.

Both work.

agree w/ Tammy...even though I used to be decent at ping pong.
Have a feeling I'd need to indecent to participate in this thread...

OMG, Ei mentioned "Crosby." One of the few music groups I saw live was CSNY. (No pity wanted for how few concerts I did not get to go to!)

Hey Padi,

If you'll be my dixie chicken, I'll be you Tennessee lamb...

They backed old Robert when he sang sneakin' sally thru the alley.

I saw L.F. at an invitation only gig at a small bar in DC many moons ago. there were maybe a dozen of us there, rockin' out! granted, the rest of the night is a blur - me in all my former badness!!!

Little Feat just ain't the same without Lowell George. That chick singer..makes them seem like just another band doing LF covers. Foo.

And Mister Piper...nothing chicken about me, sweetheart.

Oh, but boy do I remember
The strain of her refrain
And the nights we spent together
And the way she called my name
